The original 1.8-liter M271 four-cylinder was ousted in favor of a potent 2.3-liter turbocharged M111 inline-four, generating an impressive 450 horsepower. Subsequently, a larger M104 3.2-liter boosted inline-six was introduced, boasting a formidable 520 hp.

In its present state, the CLK 200 now boasts an M104 3.6-liter stroker inline-six under the hood. While the M104 is renowned as one of the finest inline-six engines ever crafted, this build takes it to unparalleled heights.

The upgraded engine now delivers a commanding 700 hp and 664 lb-ft of torque.
