Because it is only available in Europe at the moment, The Stonic is probably not a name you are familiar with. Similar to the Seltos for the North American market, it serves as the brand’s entry-level crossover on the Old continent. For the 2023 model year, the Stonic gets another extraordinary release model, which will begin showing up at Kia’s vendors from the main quarter of the following year just in the UK.

The so-called Stonic Quantum can be seen in the gallery below. It sits below the new Stonic 3 flagship model but above the previous range-topping Stonic GT Line trim. It is effectively an alternative to the GT Line, which has a sportier appearance and costs the same on the road in the UK. The Stonic Quantum gets a two-tone exterior color, starting with the exterior. There is only one combination that is available: a Storm Grey exterior with a yellow roof, A-pillars, and side mirror caps. Inside, there is a brand-new black cloth and grey faux leather seats with yellow accents. The special edition crossover comes standard with 17-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels and black accents.

The model comes with features like automatic air conditioning, a reverse camera, LED rear lights, fog lights and projector headlights, and an eight-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity as standard equipment. The standard equipment also includes heated seats, a heated steering wheel, and keyless entry with engine start/stop.

Regarding the engine, the Stonic Quantum is available with only one engine for purchase. It is a 1.0-liter turbocharged gas motor. A six-speed manual gearbox delivers 99 horsepower (74 kilowatts) to the front wheels. A more powerful version of the same three-cylinder engine that was previously available for the Stonic is not available for this new special edition.
