The entire Audi A3 family has revived styling on the way. This exhibition gets the somewhat energetic S3 hatchback testing in the snow.
The S3 wears an overhauled front belt that currently has two stacked openings and trapezoidal channels in the corners. The bar in the grille gives off an impression of being bigger. The headlights are a similar shape yet have new illustrations within the lights.
The engineers camouflage the fenders and side sills along the sides. However, the design does not appear to be significantly different from the current vehicle. It’s possible that there are styling tweaks hidden in these areas that we haven’t yet noticed.
The S3 has new graphics on its taillights at the back. Instead of the horizontal reflectors that are currently used, the bumper now has vertical reflectors. Additionally, it appears that the diffuser and simulated vents have vanished.
The new A3 lineup’s powertrain modifications are also a mystery. The current S3 is available in the United States with a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that produces 295 pound-feet of torque and 306 horsepower (228 kilowatts).
We have seen the refreshed A3 and RS3 in sedan form in previous spy shots. The S3’s styling tweaks include a new front end, updated lights, and a different rear bumper.
We anticipate the 2024 launch of the updated A3 range. It is still unknown whether Audi would release the standard model simultaneously with the S3 and RS3 or in stages. Spy photos also show that a version with the name Allroad or Allstreet is coming.
In 2025, Audi intends to cease offering vehicles powered by combustion. We anticipate that the next-generation A3 will arrive after that, making it an electric vehicle.
