The upcoming 2026 Lucid Midsize SUV is an exciting addition to the luxury electric SUV market. The Gravity is Lucid Motors latest offering, a fully electric SUV following the success of their stunning luxury sedan, the Lucid Air. With its introduction, Lucid aims to reshape the future of SUVs, promising innovation and luxury in the electric vehicle market.

The 2026 Lucid Gravity will be exclusively available with all-wheel drive, although Lucid Motors is open to introducing a rear-drive option if demand arises. While official specifications have yet to be disclosed, expect power output is 828 hp.

With launch times to 60 mph potentially as quick as 3.4 to 3.7 sec, the Gravity promises impressive performance. Additionally, the SUV will utilize the same industry-exclusive 900-volt electrical architecture as the Lucid sedan, boasting one of the highest maximum charge rates among vehicles on the market.

The 2026 Lucid Gravity offers versatility with both two and three row configurations, providing seating for up to seven passengers. Looking ahead, a four-seat variant may also become available. Regardless of its maximum occupancy, the Gravity boasts significantly more cargo-carrying capability compared to the Air.

Its sedan counterpart boasts an excellent riding range of up to 516 miles per fee with its 123.0 kWh battery %, the Gravity still gives a giant envisioned range of 440 miles, surpassing that of the maximum efficient Rivian R1S or Tesla Model X. Similar to the Air, the Gravity can unexpectedly recharge thru DC rapid-charging, with Lucid claiming it may add up to 2 hundred miles of range to the battery in just 15 minutes when connected to a 350-kW charger.

Lucid Gravity continues the brand’s luxury legacy with a spacious cabin adorned in upscale materials. Offering two- and three-row layouts, the latter accommodates either seven or six passengers with flexible seating options. Inspired by the Air sedan.

And Gravity prioritizes family-friendliness, featuring fold flat second and third-row seats for ample cargo space akin to a minivan. A center console with versatile storage, picnic tables with device charging ports, and a front-trunk storage area add practicality to the Gravity’s luxurious interior.
