They’ve brought back proper buttons for AC, tunes and hazards, along with a sleek 10.25-inch dash screen and a huge 13-inch center screen that’s extremely easy to use. Add one-pedal driving, smart travel assistant that reads license plates, and even a fun retro MK1 Golf mode for the gauges. The space is top notch for a small car: Five people can sit comfortably with extra legroom (+19 mm), and the trunk swallows 435 litres, or 1243 with the seats folded down – far more than the old gas version.
